Behind the Scenes - Lou Milano

Lou MilanoWhat do you do here? Hide from sales people. When they find me I produce their commercials. Also doing some stuff on the I95 Morning Show.

Tell us about your radio history. Started here at I-95, Then B105, Y-105, WPDH, Y-105 again, and now back at my home, The Home of Rock n' Roll, I-95.

Who were your radio influences? Stern (obviously) and O&A… but really as corny and BS as it sounds… Ethan Carey! I listened to him as a kid. He's a familiar voice.

Who are your favorite groups or artists? Bush, Nirvana, STP, Velvet Revolver, Skynyrd, Allman Brothers, Stones, AC/DC… C'mon… All classic rock. I love the stuff!

What famous musicians have you met? Actually the coolest to meet was Chubby Checker. But I've also had the pleasure of becoming pretty friendly Mark Rivera from Billy Joel's band. I'm luck enough to call him a family friend!

What was the first concert you ever saw? Lynyrd Skynyrd at The Beacon Theater

What was the BEST concert you ever saw? Lynyrd Skynyrd at the Beacon Theater

Do you play a musical instrument? Cowbell… I'm AWESOME!

What are your hobbies outside of the radio station? This is my hobby and my job! Lucky me…

What are your favorite movies? “Old School,” “Anchorman,” “Swingers,” “Made,” “Goodfellas,” “Goonies,” “Star Wars”… All of them.

What are your favorite television shows? All time – “Seinfeld” & “Cheers”. Currently – “The OC,” “Oz,” “The Sopranos,” “That 70's Show”

What are your favorite sports teams? Yankees, Raiders, & Bulls

What's your guilty pleasure? Sleep

What is your favorite “Adult” beverage? If you're buyin', I'm drinkin'
