
David Bowie and Bing Crosby raised many an eyebrow when they collaborated on this Christmas classic back in 1977 for Bing's special Merrie Olde Christmas, but surprisingly enough, the duet was a hit. They sang the traditional "Drummer Boy" tune but with the added "Peace On Earth" section, a new melody that fit in beautifully with the old.
