Taken 2, which was number one the previous two weekends, tumbled to the fourth spot, with 13.4 million.
The weekend's other wide release, Alex Cross, was a disappointment. The thriller, starring Tyler Perry in the titular role, debuted in fifth place, collecting 11.8 million dollars.
